It was 2010 we used to have an old computer, running on Windows XP. The startup sound brings a smile to my face.

I can say I was a gamer back then, buying all those Top Game CDs bundles up, don't know-how to install but somehow stumble my way to the installation. One day, I was about to buy a game called, Brian Lara International Cricket 2007, my bad I wasn't able to get it. The guy suggested to me,

Do you want Fifa-08? it’s a football game, ever tried?

Out of curiosity know shit about football I bought it. Done with installation and buckled me for something new. It feels great those times, especially a kiddo fond of games you know how it feels within.

The game starts with selecting a football club you support or you admire. Me knowing nothing about football was pressing the Enter key, till the match pops up. Of course, I knew how a football match looks, was waiting for a green pitch and a group of men with a ball.

I was playing with the same team almost all the time I play, it was Arsenal FC.

team selection screen on Fifa08

That is Arsenal FC, which appears first because of the Alphabetical order.

From then for no reason, I became an Arsenal fan, started to watch their games rarely whenever I can and not a serious supporter back then.

Years passed by from the year 2015, things became more personal Arsenal became close to my heart. Hard to see someone around me saying I love Arsenal, all were ManUtd and Barcelona fancy boys. But I somehow attracted to Arsenal.

Talking about the current scenario, we are almost getting into the relegation zone. Playing worst football, no creativity, players lack fighting spirit and losing all matches for the past 1 month.

Because of the time gap, remember sacrificing my sleep being up till 3 am watch the whole match, and sleep with disappointment because we lost.

Still, my love for the club doesn't fade even 0.0001% ever and never will. Starts with one and it always is Arsenal no matter how bad the circumstances turn against us.

When you start supporting a football club, you don’t support it because of the trophies, or a player, or history, you support it because you found yourself somewhere there; found a place where you belong. Dennis Bergkamp

Players have gone, managers changed, new jerseys every year but love for the club always remains the same.

Always Arsenal and I are more loyal to it than I do with my girlfriend…

Writing this out and my eyes on the match still, guess what we are leading!!
